The
National "D" License is a 36-hour course designed for the
experienced coach who has already received training at the "E" level. The focus
of this course is to improve individual's and team's ability. The ‘D’ License takes place over two weekends. The first weekend is instruction. The second weekend, which takes place a
minimum of two months after the first weekend, is used to evaluate each
candidate. The gap in between the two
weekends gives the candidates time to practice and evaluate what they learned
in the first weekend. Each ‘D’ License
candidate will be assigned an OYSA staff instructor to mentor them through the
course.
